CAMP BONCLARKEN
Camp Bonclarken offers a unique experience for boys and girls who
have completed grades 2-8. Under the leadership of Camp Directors
Trip McGill and Lynn Grimsley, the campers learn to grow “in
wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52.

CAMP JOY
Camp Joy is a Christian Education Ministries event planned especially for adults with mental handicaps. Campers, each accompanied by a special friend, have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities including worship, Bible study, and recreation.

HORIZON
Horizon, is the senior high conference led by Christian Education Ministries. Horizon is a week-long opportunity for spiritual growth and development, fellowship, and teaching on pertinent information from God's Word. The goal of this conference is to send young people out into their world, spiritually nurtured, fed and equipped to live out their faith and share it with those around them.

Music/Drama Camp is a great opportunity for boys and girls who have competed grades 2-8 to have lots of fun learning about production, set design, costuming, and program design in preparation for a musical production.

Each year the Catawba, First, and Second Presbyteries hold high school and middle school retreats during the spring and fall. The events are excellent opportunities for youth to grow in their faith and enjoy Bonclarken.

QUEST
Quest is the middle school conference led by Christian Education Ministries, and is held at Bonclarken during the month of June. It is always a time of high energy and fun combined with an exciting presentation of God's Holy Word and how it applies to daily life.

SEE THE LEAVES
Sit back and relax while someone else drives you through the mountains of western North Carolina to see the wondrous fall colors. Fee provides five meals, a two night stay, a play at Flat Rock Playhouse, and a bus tour of some of the best leaf viewing spots.

VOLUNTEER WORK WEEK
Bonclarken’s annual Volunteer Work Week is a great time of fellowship, fun, and work as volunteers are housed and fed free of charge in exchange for their labor as the grounds are prepared for the upcoming summer season.
