Bonclarken is the conference center of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church. The ARP Church is a conservative evangelical Christian denomination that has been faithfully preaching the Gospel for over 200 years. Our roots are traced to the Reformation, particularly the work of John Calvin and John Knox. To learn more about us, click here - ARP Church.
Bonclarken’s mission is “to provide and promote a Christian environment for inspiration and renewal, worship, education, fellowship, and recreation by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Our location, environment, hospitality, and facilities will provide your retreat or conference attendees the opportunity to find rest, rediscover their connection with God, and deepen their relationship with one another.
Bonclarken is more than a place you go, it’s a place where you belong. As you rediscover that you belong to God and each other, you can embrace your place in the family of God.
The Conference Center is located within a neighborhood of traditional homes. The community exhibits a safe and warm “front porch” culture. This small hamlet of neighbors is motivated by a love of the Center. The residents are eager to welcome guests and they pray for groups while they are in the neighborhood.
There is no better environment for Christian inspiration and renewal than this peaceful faith-filled village. Since the Conference Center is located among the Bonclarken permanent residents, upon arriving at the site, guests are welcomed into this special place by the feeling of “home.”
Bonclarken is a place where guests are able to leave the world behind. “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” [1 John 2:17]. Guests often find themselves more receptive to the Holy Spirit when they enter Bonclarken’s community.
The name “Bonclarken” means “good clear vision.” It is a place that truly allows groups to focus on the future and the renewal of their dreams and aspirations.
